Did you know that Annie is basically written as Ben's canon romantic soulmate in the show? LOST creators stated that she & Alex are the 2 most significant women in Ben's life ('are', present tense) & she was supposed to come back as an adult! Unfortunately the 2007 strike (1/2)+

+ made them have to cut the rest of her storyline-- but that doesn't undo their intention! It's beautiful that so much of the fandom collectively decided he finds her again after he & Hugo become the new Island rulers. Obvs he finds her, Bennie ARE canonical soulmates in love!

Remember that b4 the strike they said Annie would be a “SEISMIC” presence on the show! She’s so clearly Ben’s soulmate so it’s obvious they met after the finale & again in the flash sideways after church! They’re the love of each other’s life! only delusional ppl dont see it lol

And don’t forget that Michael Emerson said that his “only regret from Lost” is that Lost didn’t end up showing more of Ben’s adult romance with Annie!! Thematically, it’s clear the intention is for them to be soulmates. So they are! ❤️It’s obvious they get together post-finale
