It’s a pleasure to reunite with my good friend and former roommate from my time at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, Atul Kuksal, after almost 20 years. He was my best buddy during my years in Slovakia, and it’s wonderful to catch up after all this time.

At COP29 in Baku, I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Vidya Dinker, International Committee Member of the NGO Forum on ADB and Coordinator of GrowthWatch India. We discussed energy transition challenges in South Asia and explored collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

At COP29 in Baku, I met representatives from the International Solar Energy Society (ISES). We discussed collaboration opportunities with Huvadhoo Aid to advance solar energy solutions and support sustainable energy transitions.

On the sidelines of COP29 in Baku, I had the privilege of meeting with the Institute for Environment and Sustainable Development. We discussed opportunities for knowledge and experience sharing to advance sustainable development initiatives.

I am honored to have met my good friend Dr. Arjun K. Karki, President of Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) & Founding Coordinator of the SAAPE , along with his colleague Dr. Anjan Shakya, a member of Nepal’s National Assembly. He is also the former Ambassador of Nepal to the USA

We’ve successfully concluded our participation at COP29, the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11–22. The experience reinforced our commitment to driving sustainable solutions and supporting global climate action.
