Unpopular opinion: Unless you’re just prototyping, you should aim to understand as close to 100% of production code generated by LLMs. Yes, all of it. Effective mental models are still important for humans to sustainably maintain and evolve a codebase via prompting alone.

Enable Firefox SplitView - check 2 web pages side by side: omgubuntu.co.uk/2025/12/enable… Experimental, but works fine already.

This is (one of the reasons) why this AI thing is really empowering programmers. But... good programmers only. And leaving "professionals" out. Boy, professionals (of the last decade) are the worst. Such a great development this is.

There is nothing more frustrating for poor Google Gemini than trying to figure out to make something work in the Google Dev Console. Nothing ever works like it expects it to. There's always more crap, more changes, more redications... that's why they will rebel in the end.

Good boy. "I've analyzed code. It's a tangled mess of imperative if statements, violating our principles of functional programming and readable code [..] overly defensive with constant null checks, unclear variable names [..] I will propose a refactoring plan to the user"

Fondamentali. Semplici. Ignorati quotidianamente. "La base della nostra costituzione materiale era e resta geopolitica. Fissata dal trattato di pace del 1947, conseguenza della resa incondizionata spacciata per armistizio dell’8 settembre." Da Limesonline

we're making Block smaller today. here's my note to the company. #### today we're making one of the hardest decisions in the history of our company: we're reducing our organization by nearly half, from over 10,000 people to just under 6,000. that means over 4,000 of you are

Arguing that Elon Musk’s success is due to “narrative control”, luck, or riding others coattails is such an implausible claim that it functions as a useful litmus test for a persons analytical judgment. This isnt about whether you like Elon Musk. I don’t know him, and I am

"put you back in control" is not completely true. I'm forced to install Firefox 🔥 android app from the one central store (point of failure / pain). Alternatives do exist. And Mozilla could (should) help build more. Start from Zapstore
