Happy #LaborDay! Let's give a big thank you to all the golf course maintenance teams who worked so hard this summer to deliver great playing conditions for golfers to enjoy.

Final fairway topdressing of the year. Also vertidraining fairways for a couple weeks. Growth is slowing down. Will be nice to have these practices behind us.

Mowing fairways today after 2" of rain this week. The Members' investment in aeration, verticutting topdressing over the years is paying off. Thank you

Needle tining over lightly topdressed greens today before evening rain. No Aer-Aider this time because we aren't waiting for dry sand. Greens being rolled and course will open at noon.

First good Project Monday of the new year. A couple trees out between #15&17, and some drainage for #8 approach. Should be ready for play this afternoon.

Selective tree removal at the back of the driving range. These removals will soon be replaced by varieties more native to the area.

Looking forward to hosting the Western Washington Golf Course Superintendent Association fivesome tournament on Wednesday. Weather is not forecasted to look like this, but we'll do our best. Thanks to the Inglewood membership for supporting this event #wwgcsa

I'm not sure what to think of this. Grass practice tee is closed Monday and Tuesday for maintenance, but a couple Members think this doesn't apply to them apparently. Disappointing. These areas won't be recovered by the time the hitting locations rotate back to here.🤷

It was time. Solid tining has helped get sand into the profile, but this season called for some decompaction on fairways.

Final fairway topdressing of the season. Feels great to get this one done during some sunny October weather. Vertidraining all fairways is up next starting in a coupleweeks.

Starting in the dark. The long process of vertidraining all fairways. Complicated by lots of storm cleanup from the weekend. I'm lucky to have team members willing to put in the time and effort. Vertidraining continues for the next few weeks. Will help with surface drainage

As we finish vertidraining the last fairway today, we are now beginning to slice all rough. Relieving compaction and allowing for better surface drainage. Members, this process will move faster than fairway vertidraining.
