This week, UNHCR Data is attending #IDAC's Annual Conference! ๐ A global coalition of governments, experts, youth, and academics gather in Rabat, #Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ to tackle data challenges for children on the move. Together, we aim to create solutions that leave no child behind!


โ๏ธ Around 47.2 million children were displaced globally at the end of 2023. Under the EU-funded IDAC - Int'l Data Alliance 4 Children on the Move initiative, IOM & partners joined the Government of Morocco in a global conference on the role of data in upholding the rights of children on the move. tinyurl.com/mtnzc9yc

Grateful to IDAC - Int'l Data Alliance 4 Children on the Move for the invitation to present @DhiaAc work on the importance of human rights perspectives on data collection efforts related to youth and children and border crossings in the Ciudad Juarez/El Paso area.

At the end of 2023, conflict, violence and other crises led to an estimated 47.2 million children to be on the move. This is a record high that shows no signs of slowing down.
