An icddr,b case report describes successful treatment of a patient with the highly fatal (10-50%) bacterial disease melioidosis. The patient had admitted with left knee pain and fever for 7 days, and was treated with doxycycline and later cotrimoxazole. cutt.ly/erg83oe2
