Fighting words, to be sure, but you know I'm clicking that Big Green Merge Button as soon as a Dreamcast port arrives, too. :)

It's weird how long you can squint at Daniel Larusso in Karate Kid Legends and think...is this meant to be the same character from Cobra Kai? I like to think he's merely a Larusso variant on a specific branch in the Macchioverse.

I can't believe that 28 Years Later was made by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland. I understand the first sequel was made by other people--that happens--but the ones that made the brilliant original took back control of the franchise just to make a lousy third film. Baffling.

One thing I'm noticing about myself: variable names get longer when I have no idea how to calculate the thing it's supposed to store. It's like I'm trying to reason it out in English. Or I'm stalling for time, I don't know.

Damn. RIP Ozzy. Legend seems an inadequate word for the impact he had. Ozzy was part of the soundtrack of my life through high school with Sabbath and into his solo career. Ozzy was always there. There playing games and trying to make games in the early 80s. There on drives to

Hot take: the new War of the Worlds movie is not good for many reasons, but this "Searching" style of film could be a good format for adapting this specific story, in the same way adapting the novel into a fictional radio news broadcast worked.
