“why exactly should someone’s professional life be affected by an affair?” I’m not saying it always should be, but this is really not a difficult calculus. This guy looks his wife and children in the face every day, the people on this planet he supposedly loves the most and

Absolutely no way whatsoever. He's blatantly a lovely guy who I would want to feel completely welcome in the UK. I'd take him to see York Minster, the Lake District, the Cotswolds, Edinburgh, Cornwall.

How is this in any way unfair? The situation in Gaza is pretty repulsive to a huge number of Blackburn's constituents, so much so that its a priority ahead of local issues, and they've elected this man to Parliament to represent those views. That's our democracy. You can't

I don’t think we’re remotely as ready as we should be, but fuck it, it’s the night before Christmas so let’s have some optimism.

#saintsfc Takeaways from the first half. Quarshie a fairly rubbish footballer but a great athlete - if we can teach him how to kick a ball there’s some potential there. Front three not actually doing too badly as individuals but you can’t have just three midgets up top with no

This is how the BBC can make a true story seem false. Last week: Charlotte Gill reported that schools got children as young as 5 to make Valentine’s Day cards for asylum seekers. This week: The BBC runs a piece making the whole idea sound like misinformation. 🧵

#saintsfc Regardless of the result, there’s some clear improvement in the speed at which we move the ball. Fewer touches, moving it quicker. Higher energy and better fitness as well.

🚨 ❤️ ⚽️ Arne Slot sends clear message: “Isak is not a Liverpool player, but the mentality of being able to work but refusing to is one that many Liverpool supporters can appreciate & will understand”. “I think he would be a perfect fit for this club”.

How many FRICKING times. Lucy Connolly pleaded guiltily precisely because she was told she’d be ‘home by Christmas’ as she’d have a reduced sentence. She was remanded in custody meaning she only had direct access to the poor legal advice of her duty solicitor. Not once would she,
