Really liking what the Hawks, Spurs, and Hornets are doing so far

The Charlotte Hornets have selected Liam McNeeley with the No. 29 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Surprising fall for McNeeley, but great value for the opportunistic Hornets, who I'm told are keeping this pick.

Hornets had the best draft so far outside of the Spurs Great value with Liam at 29 and the fit with Kon is perfect Just need to get Kalkbrenner for a center and Penda/Flemming for value with 33 and 34 tomorrow

Love Liam McNeeley in Charlotte. Charles Lee wants to play a five-out, three-point heavy offense? Great. Draft two of the draft’s best movement shooters than can function as solid secondary/tertiary creators. Buying the dip on a top 10 HS recruit is good process.

Peterson says finding another center is a priority going forward.

Asked Jeff Peterson if the #Hornets had an opportunity to trade down. He said yes, but they didn't like the cost.

Peterson on adding shooters: "Shooting is at a premium in this league. Any time you can add shooting you have to take a hard look at it...They're more than just shooters. They come from incredible programs, coached well, very tough, excited about their overall package."
