Sadly today our van full of props/costumes for GYPSY was stolen. 12 huge laundry bags full of 1930s/40s costumes were in the back. For us these costumes are irreplaceable & we would love to get them back. We are appealing for anyone who might have any information.

FOUND: A lost unicorn at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2. Lost & Found was closed so they’re currently safe & sound in a temporary London home. Seems very well loved so would love to reunite with owner if possible. RTs appreciated! Can we make some magic happen?

I love the work of Kate Davies and her new book Wheesht looks a fascinating read. A series of essays on the creative process, particularly set against uncertain times and obstacles. Have a look to at the Wheesht website ( link in article)

So next time you hear someone talking about "the will of the people", let alone The People's Government, show them this. Under PR, with the same popular vote, there would have been a Parliamentary majority for a second referendum... #BorisJohnsonPM

Joe's Crusade Thank you. Perfect timing for me. Finding my shoes very uncomfortable at the moment and working out which direction to walk in them also confusing.

I am an NHS nurse and not social media savvy - I only have 106 followers & I’m OK with that. I want to show how Covid-19 can spread VERY easily from 1 person to millions. Share this and show those who are not listening how easily things spread. 1 retweet is like touching 1 person

After the government endorses another evening of clapping for NHS workers, some suggest next week we do something really crazy like give them basic protective equipment or access to coronavirus testing.

The isolation felt follow a bereavement can be so desolate. But this gave me hope, that maybe post #Covid_19 and the experience of quarantine, even a handful of people will come out of the other side, a little kinder, a little more understanding to those of us grieving 💜 #grief

For those of us bereaved by suicide our world was turned upside down, we are isolated and there is no going back to normal. I hope people will learn some understanding from this

Word of the Day: "hleów-feðer" - "a sheltering wing" (Old English, literally "shelter-feather"); an arm placed in protection around another; one who keeps another safe, who stands to windward to take the gale's force, to make a lee.

Giveaway return to sender Walker print! Envelope looks like it's been through a turnip mangler but the print is almost unscathed apart from a very slightly bent corner. It's fine but I can't sell it. Retweet to enter & I'll select a winner at random on Sunday eve. UK only - soz.

From a few years ago, but if (like us) you can't get enough of Fair Isle colourwork right now, this makes for a fun lunchtime perusal with dozens of gloriously intricate knits! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotla…

Do you wonder when you watch charity fundraising on the telly why we never have a night devoted to "Stand up Against Suicide" .?? On Suicide Awareness Day we're lucky to get 5 mins on the news. No celebs baking cakes to support mental health. This is what stigma looks like.

We are finally processing our silk stocking reconstructions! They are absolutely stunning! The silk yarn has been produced from cocoons by hand at Nido di Seta and the stockings are knitted by our fantastic voluntary knitters. It takes over 200 hours to knit one silk stocking!

I'm very sad to report that Rick Jones, aka Yoffy from Fingerbobs has passed away aged 84. I initially interviewed him for my book many years ago and we stayed in touch. He was a huge creative spirit, a talented musician and a lover of life. I shall miss him greatly

Good news for a Monday morning: I've had ethics clearance for my oral history project, so if you or someone you know would be interested in talking to me about how they use lace, and any connections it has to their emotions or sense of identity, please get in touch.
