Dr. Sonya Graci, a TRSHTM professor, was the IHTR director for the past six years. Under her leadership, the institute has continually made significant contributions to the tourism industry. This year, she decided to step down and focus on educating the next generation.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Wayne Smith, Professor at the TRSHTM, will take over and become the director of the Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Research. We are excited to see what will unfold under his direction.
