FAMILY FUN NIGHT WILL NOW BE AT THE HAZEL PARK DISTRICT LIBRARY TOMORROW, TUESDAY MAY 13 AT 6:30PM due to unforseen circumstances. So come have fun playing with legos, trains and board games in the kid's area tomorrow.

Bevin Cohen (Ben) is an award winning author, herbalist, owner of Small House Farm and host of the popular Seeds and Weeds Podcast. Come join us at the Hazel Park District Library, Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30PM to hear Ben talk about gardening.

Summer Reading at the Hazel Park District Library Tuesday, June 11 at 3:30PM will kick off with Animal Magic. Mark Rosenthal is bringing his rescue exotic animals to the library. All ages are welcome.

This program is for kids 2-12 and siblings.

Get out of the heat and come relax at the Hazel Park District Librrary next Saturday. Carmel Liburdi will be playing her jazz/indie music June 22 at 1pm.

Howell Nature Center provides wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education. Their Nature Bus program, involves hands-on activities, instructional conservation education and live animals. Come see the live animals and the Nature Bus on September 10 at 6:30pm.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 25th is our annual Trick or Treat event at City Hall. There will be storytime beforehand at 10:30am and then we'll walk to the City Hall building to trick or treat. Homeschool students are welcome to come also and join in the fun.

Come play with our science kits tonight, Tuesday February 25 at 6:30pm. You can check them out afterward if you wantl. If you have a little one that would like to come, I'll be putting out the magnatiles, blocks and everything else on our storytime cart also.

Reading to a dog can help children improve their reading skills, build confidence, and develop a love of reading. Join us at the Library to read or hang out with a dog on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30pm. We'll also have dog related crafts.

Legos help children learn to analyze, plan, and strategize as they build and create with LEGOs. Come to the Hazel Park District Library, Tuesday April 1st at 6:30pm to play with legos and put them on display for everyone to see your awesome imagination.

Don't miss out on the library's Summer Reading Program - registration is now open! We have a children's, teen and adult program. Reading to your baby and preschooler counts also. There are many fun programs all summer for you to enjoy.

Join us at the Library for a Kid's Bingo program on Tuesday, July 1st at 1pm. We also have a Pokemon/Lego Club program at 6:30pm.
