Yesterday, our members attended the 26th Annual Ceremony of Remembrance. This day honours and pays tribute to Ontario’s fallen police officers who have died in the Line of Duty. Two historical names were added. All 285 names on the wall including are heroes in life, not death.

Last night Hamilton Police held their annual Awards Night celebrating Hamilton Police & community members. A shout out to the trio of officers for winning Member of the Year for the incident at Winona Peach Festival in August 2024. Congrats to all the award winners & nominees.

HPA members were on the green this past Friday supporting Hamilton Firefighters 🇨🇦 Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds will be supporting Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Burn Unit. The Hamilton General Hospital is home to one of the only two Burn units available to Ontario’s residents & first responders.

Yesterday, we enjoyed the sunny day supporting York Regional Police Association’s 35th Annual Memorial Gold Tournament. Funds raised from the event will benefit Community Living Central York and the YRPA Benevolent Fund. As always, great to join the Co-operators in their foursome as well ⛳️

Yesterday board members spent the day at the Hamilton Police Retirees Association 31st Annual Alumni Golf Tournament. Funds raised were donated to Hamilton Out of the Cold w/ a cheque presentation prior to tee off. Last season HOOTC served over 33,000 meals to Hamilton residents.
