Questions to coaches after watching a recruit: 1-How hard does he practice? 2-Whatโ€™s his GPA? 3-What does he want to study? 4-Is he a leader? By example, vocally, or both? 5-Does he party? What are his priorities? 6-Does he embrace coaching? 7-Does he make his teammates better?

It's not your coach's fault. Itโ€™s not your employerโ€™s fault. It's not the official's fault. It's not your parentโ€™s fault. Itโ€™s not the schoolโ€™s fault. It's not your teacher's fault. It's not your teammate's fault. Own your successes AND failures. ~ from Coach Hines ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

You rarely get this anymore in sports. Parents ruin so many experiences for kids. Unbelievable job by mom and dad! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ #LearningInTheJourney

Donโ€™t be disappointed if people refuse to help you. I am thankful to all those who said no. Because of them, I did it myself.

Thanks to Mt Airy Parks & Rec director Peter Raymer for reserving the pickleball courts at Riverside Park to allow High School PE classes to use the facilities today. Students enjoyed pickleball, futsol, basketball and even a walk on the greenway. Our community is fortunate.
