Terrific talk today with our summer class of NASA Internships at NASA's Johnson Space Center! Our interns are key to #Artemis missions sending humans to the Moon.
The European Service Module for #Artemis III is on its way from Airbus Space to NASA's Kennedy Space Center! The service module is assembled in Germany with contributions from 10 European countries — congratulations to the @ESA and Airbus teams on our key to pushing Orion Spacecraft to the Moon.
Our #Artemis II crew members joined us to thank NASA's Glenn Research Center teams for their critical Orion Spacecraft work! The Glenn team is an integral part of Orion development and success, and the team at NASA’s Armstrong Test Facility performs key Orion environmental testing.
The NASA Internships at NASA's Johnson Space Center got a Halloween treat last week during our Orion discussion! Thank you #Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman for stopping by to talk about flying Orion Spacecraft!
Great time at #CES2025 talking Orion Spacecraft and progress toward our upcoming mission to the Moon, with #Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman and NASA leadership team.
Congratulations to Orion Spacecraft Deputy Program Manager, Debbie Korth! Thank you for your dedicated efforts to prepare our spacecraft to fly the Artemis II crew to the Moon and set the team up for success on future exploration missions!
Excited to visit with the team installing the Orion Spacecraft solar array wings, which will power the spacecraft's European Space Agency-provided service module and our crew on the Artemis II flight around the Moon!
This morning we watched Artemis II Orion Spacecraft roll out of the NASA's Kennedy Space Center O&C to the MPPF for fueling and processing! Exciting to share this moment with Shawn Quinn as we get ready to send crew around the Moon - and huge thanks to the Orion and NASA's Exploration Ground Systems teams. Let’s GO!
This week we welcomed our Orion summer intern cohort, and had a great discussion about Orion's upcoming missions with NASA Internships at NASA's Johnson Space Center. Excited to see all that our 19 Orion interns will contribute toward sending humans to the Moon aboard Orion on Artemis II and III!
Happy National Intern Day to our Orion interns! Our interns are contributing directly to sending the NASA Artemis II crew around the Moon inside the Orion spacecraft, and helping to shape the future of exploration.
The Orion team was very excited to see the NASA Artemis II crew successfully test and interface with equipment inside the Orion spacecraft last week. Next, Orion will roll to the LASF to be integrated with its launch abort system, bringing us one step closer to launch. Let's go!
Mark and the Orion team are doing excellent work ensuring Orion is ready to fly NASA Artemis II early next year!
It was great recently showing some of our Orion suppliers around NASA's Johnson Space Center! Our suppliers are critical to NASA Artemis missions and ensuring our spacecraft is ready to carry our crew around the Moon and back.
One step closer to sending our NASA Artemis II crew around the Moon inside Orion! The fully-fueled spacecraft was moved to NASA's Kennedy Space Center's LASF, where the team will integrate Orion's launch abort system. The LAS is critical to ensuring our crew's safety during launch and ascent.
Our world-class Orion team has a new world-class facility to support NASA Artemis missions! Inside the new Orion Mission Evaluation Room, our engineers will monitor our spacecraft as it flies around the Moon, analyze data, and provide expertise: go.nasa.gov/45TFLei
