Kahlis Willis (18) has now been formally charged with the fatal shooting of a 12 year old boy who was walking home from the store at the Sunset Gardens Apartments hounews.tv/2023/09/06/sus…

Willis was also charged with assaulting a family member in May of 2022 but these charges were dismissed after he completed a “Pretrial Diversion Program”

According to court records, he was out on probation for knowingly possessing a “machine gun”. Prior charges, (which were dismissed) included robbery, evading arrest, criminal trespassing (with a deadly weapon) and unlawfully carrying a handgun. #HouNews
