I notice AI Overviews further down the page. That's better for the health of its search engine. Google still has a problem with the top 2 positions being nothing but Reddit and related links. Very rarely do I want to sift through a Reddit thread or give up on what I searched for.

I'd be willing to include Jabari Smith Jr. in a Kevin Durant trade if I'm the Rockets. For one, the fact that the Suns have interest in him tells you that they'll take a deal centered around him. Udoka didn't have many minutes for Jabari in the playoffs. So what is there to lose?

Democracy Now, famous for not displaying ads because they deem them unprincipled, has been paying for ads for years. May as well go ahead and display those banners Democracy Now!

These are the Google stats for Make Tech Easier. It's once-thriving tech community now sacrificed by Google since the release of AI. It's been down so long that it almost looks like it was only lucky before.

A couple of years ago, a friend wanted to show me a new site he found called Reddit. Thanks but it's not new. I've known it since 2010. Anyway, these are the Reddit stats since AI came out. Google replaced 1,000s of small businesses with garbage Reddit traffic.

These are the Google stats for Quora. Since the release of AI, Google has favored random people sharing their "expertise" on Quora. In reality, it's favored because Google can trust that it isn't AI. Ironically, its founder started using AI and he started losing traffic.

Donald Trump wanting to bring manufacturing back to the US while it's in the middle of a massive AI shift that will globalize and outsource endless jobs is roughly the equivalent of sitting around a table and listening to your grandfather's politics. You're out of touch Don!

As much as I and the world love Kevin Durant, he's retiring in a few years, and that just isn't worth much to a contender who already plans on winning with or without him. The Suns need to stop making a spectacle of Durant and let him go. He was worth a lot more 2 years ago.

Did he really invest in one of his main competitors whose plan is to replace his search engine? What does that tell you about Bing? Now we're starting to see how chatbots got their funding to exist.

Rays rumored to be sold for 1.7B. Here's to hoping the Tampa Bay Rays are sold and the new owner changes the name back to the Devil Rays from Sun Rays. If they go back to the Devil Rays, I'll become a fan.

It's interesting how ChatGPT is known as a company set to take down Google, and yet a micro business can't actually use ChatGPT for anything because it constantly tells lies. It should be banned from schools because it's never given factual information in any prompt.
