In October, Hostile screened for students University of Sussex as part of its MA in Migration Studies course. Thanks to Prof. Paul Statham, Director of the Sussex Centre for Migration Research, for organising the event, and using the film as part of his curriculum!

In October, Film Oxford screened Hostile for students at the BFI Film Academy, including a Q&A with director Sonita Gale. The event was part of a course to help train and inspire the next generation of UK filmmakers.

On February 28th, Hostile screened for students at the Department of International Development (@odid_qeh) at University of Oxford, with a Q&A with Director Sonita Gale. The event was part of a series of arts-based initiatives for students getting the Migration Studies degree.

Last week Hostile screened Phillips Exeter, Cumberland Sanctuary Network, and University of Hertfordshire. Interest in the film continues to skyrocket in the run up to Refugee Week 2025, and we are glad the film continues to be used to raise awareness of migrant issues.
