Seasonal Employment Alliance Homeland Security Genevieve Douglas @acaldwellwsj Is anyone listening? Does anyone in Congress understand that they have the power to help these seasonal businesses? Don’t just sit there and do nothing. Please help them! Full-time American jobs are in jeopardy as a result! #saveH2B

Seasonal Employment Alliance Homeland Security Genevieve Douglas @acaldwellwsj When landscapers turn away contracts because they don’t have enough people, despite paying a top wage and great benefits, yes, that’s what you call a labor shortage. People want year-round employment, not seasonal. Can’t hire people who don’t apply!

If someone could give me the reason 33,000 visas per cycle (66,000 total) was the chosen number, that would be great. Also, please confirm that the factors that went into this decision are static/unchanging since this decision. #h2b #releasethevisas #saveh2b #h2bvisa

Donald Trump became president not to make money, but to do his best to preserve the great things about this nation for future generations. He put America first. I’ve never seen anyone work harder. Thank you President Trump for your service to this nation.

One thing U.S. Department of Labor must understand is that more American worker applicants does not = more Am. workers. From our survey: - 1,974 American worker applicants during the month of March - 577 American workers interviewed - 56 showed up on their first scheduled day - 109 still working

New Administration - Same Problem. Nothing ever changes in DC, and if it does, its usually for the worse. Every Congress & Admin since Bush II have ignored seasonal businesses that rely upon #H2B. They only cater to the "Too Big To Fail" crowd and not small businesses. #SaveH2B

If I had one wish for the rest of my life to be granted, it would be to increase the #h2b cap to meet the need or permanently implement the returning worker exemption. We hope to be in business for the next 17 years until we retire. Release all the additional visas now. #saveh2b

apple.news/AIMM9qxYaQKu4j… This explains exactly what we’ve been saying for years. This is a must read for all Congress members. Don’t punish us for doing the right thing. Release all the additional #h2b visas. USCIS Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas Antony Blinken Secretary Marty Walsh Joe Biden #saveh2b

While I appreciate the Secretary acting on my request and providing some relief, I am concerned that this number will be insufficient to meet the full demand of our seasonal employers as we come off the pandemic. (1/2) harris.house.gov/media/press-re…

Seasonal Employment Alliance Using h2b our wages(set by DOL) have been over $15/hr for years. That’s not counting the $1,000s in fees per visa to use the cumbersome program. If we could find enough local help(which DOL certifies we can’t) we would not use the program. #saveh2b
