I saw the Fairfield University men’s basketball team beat Stonehill in overtime last Friday.It was a very exciting game.Fairfield has a good young team and is better than the preseason predictions.Chris Casey and his staff are doing a great job.

Coaches have always raised funds but I hear about it now more than ever. UAB and Andy Kennedy have excelled way beyond expectations. The product he develops each year and the benefits the team brings to the university/city far exceeds the investment. He does so much more w less!

UAB becomes the first team to solve South Alabama this season, 80-72. Jacob Meyer had a superb 24 points to lead the Blazers. UAB heads to the Jacksonville Classic now with momentum following wins over High Point and South Alabama (Blazers are the only team to beat either team).

Just announced on the post game, UAB FB SID Ted Feeley is leaving the program.

UAB had just enough offensive rebounding and key stops to outduel Southern Illinois, 81-73. Kyeron Lindsay-Martin was an absolute beast, going a near perfect 10-for-11, led to 25 Points, and snagged 10 boards while wearing two different uniforms! Blazers take on UTEP tomorrow.
