I was one of them!! The women’s tournament definitely outshone the men’s and the games were so competitive and of a very high standard. Might just go to the Women’s Final 4 instead of the Men’s!!

With accumulated losses in 2023 of £26.8 million of UK companies 777, London Lions & the BBL it doesn't take a genius to see where this could be going!!

Sad to see you go Isaac. You have left the club in a much better place than you found it. Well done and hope any new venture in basketball is just as successful.

Just seen this. Even more confused!! Not sure how they can fund their “plans” for basketball with so much negativity regarding airline going bust, Everton takeover stalled & lawsuits in the US thelondonlions.com/news/a-stateme…

Three directors of The Basketball League have resigned - amazingly it’s not the three USA (777) directors but the chairman and two other UK based directors.

The Basketball League now has 5 directors. Three are American (777?) and Two are British. Not the best combination going forward!!!

There were 16 employees last year per accounts - really bad news for them. Also the Raiders were a wholly owned subsidiary who owed £141k. This is one huge financial disaster that will have major repercussions for our sport

BBF have appointed a new director - Anne-Marie Koukourava - changes are happening pretty quickly as the people responsible for basketball attempt to sort out the mess left by 777 Partners

Lenz Balan resigned as a director from The Basketball League yesterday which leaves the two 777 Partners, namely Weiss and Wander as the only executives. Andy Webb remains as Co Secretary. I think we are about to see the company heading towards the exit door!

Thanks Don for letting me join you so I could also experience the best steak I've had in years. Every trip to London has to include Hawksmoor.

First game - Serbia 🇷🇸 v Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷 Great support for both teams. Free tickets from some German fans who had to go home!!
