A flourish of red and white amid the warship grey #RoyalNavy ice breaker HMS Protector sailed down the Americas, from Quebec to Valparaíso, on Chile's coast, to take part in exercises alongside South American nations and is now preparing for her next Antarctic voyage. ⬇️

While the Ship undergoes maintenance in Talcahuano, Chile a group of us took the opportunity to take part in the Concepción Half Marathon and 10km run. Great atmosphere and we got a shout out for bringing the weather! 🇨🇱

Alongside Punta Arenas 🇨🇱 five members of the Ship’s Company of PROTECTOR took part in the ‘Supera tu Marca’ 10km run 🏃‍♂️ . All did well, including a couple of personal bests, and a second place 🥈 podium finish for the First Lieutenant!
