Yesterday DASHER provided safety boat support for a JPR (Joint Personnel Recovery) serial as part of #BALTOPS25 We tested NATO’s ability to respond to and recover a casualty from the water by helicopter. #NATOfirst HMS Archer

Another JPR (Joint Personnel Recovery) serial completed today, this time without the use of any aircraft. Man Overboard Recovery Stretcher put to good use in order to recover the ‘cold but conscious’ casualty, proving our ability to conduct SAR operations in support of NATO.

Last week we played a game of ‘soccer’ against Monckeberg FC in Germany. Sadly the result didn’t go our way, however it was pleasure to play against such good hosts. AB Watson and the CO both represented admirably. Fortunately the England U21s brought home the goods for us.
