*VISITS update* As you will know, COVID testing of people in the wider community has now come to an end. Therefore, from today you will no longer be required to take a COVID test before coming to see your loved one for a visit.

Update regarding visits at Stoke Heath Visitors, our men and staff will now be required to wear face coverings whilst commencing visits. The visits process remains the same and this will not affect any visit sessions previously booked

At HMP Stoke Heath we are dedicated to preventing opioid overdose deaths by delivering Naloxone training and distributing Naloxone kits. Our goal is that every prisoner has access to Naloxone training. #Naloxonesaveslives

Leading from the top, Governor Huntington is trained in the administration of Naloxone, which includes spotting the signs of an opioid overdose, assembling the Naloxone kit and safely delivering the injection. #Naloxonesaveslives #HMPStokeheath #prisons

Our delivery programme uses our Health & Wellbeing Champions to deliver peer-peer Naloxone training in preparation for release. Statistically the period immediately after release is when prisoners with substance misuse issues are most vulnerable to overdose. #Naloxonesaveslives
