Season 2 was a learning curve for us - especially ep2 where we discussed #toxicfemininity. We tried to understand it but, we’ll be honest, we’re still wracking our brains. Let‘s revisit this one together - tune in to S2E2 and keep the conversation going about toxic femininity.

During S2, I was going through the motions of selling my flat/moving in with family/buying a house. Big shout out to Amanda for being my constant doing the podcast with me to keep me sane. Dyl and I are now in our new home so we wanted to share some pic updates with everyone 🏡

Season 2 introduced a new segment called our #MoaningMyrtle moment. Amanda has extreme frustration with adult women being called "GIRLS". To hear more and how it links directly to the fight for #transkids to play sports in the US check out episode 3!

S2E4 was dedicated to #mindfulmasculinity. However, in our ‘Moaning Myrtle’ section, we discussed ‘whitelist’/‘blacklist’ and why these words are problematic. #racism really comes up in the places you might not realise/expect. If you‘ve not listened yet, what are you waiting for?

In Episode 8 Amanda mentions you won't be able to miss the itch, but since her second experience with #ObstetricCholestasis, she would like to say she's WRONG! Amanda has a low tolerance for pretty much everything. So your itch might be mild. #Dontignoretheitch! Get it checked.

Amanda brought her own experience to the #MoaningMyrtle section of S2E6: the shambles of the name-changing process. For women, name-changing often brings a change of suffix i.e. from Miss/Ms. Feminist task: Say no thanks to Mrs and advocate for Ms or Mx for our trans+ friends.

University is well underway now and I’m feeling the #dissertationfear. For those of you that follow along, you’ll know that this is the final year of my undergrad. Am I considering a #panicmasters??? Maybe… Hit me with your dissertation tips and tricks!

If we keep repeating ourselves maybe "people" will tell other people that using the term "GIRLS" to refer to grown women is a #microaggression. So STOP. thhhhaaaannnkkkkssss 😎

You have internalised misogyny. And so do we! In S2E8, we discussed internalised misogyny. You’re not a ‘bad feminist’ for it. It’s important to acknowledge it, learn from it and move on. Not sure what internalised misogyny is or need some help checking yours? Tune in to S2E8.
