It's so frustrating when you want to write, but you're fatigued, and the words come out slow as molasses.

My current WIP (an adult gothic romantasy) deals with spooky things, but also mental health. As someone who has battled mh issues since childhood, voicing it can be difficult, even to loved ones. But even in your darkest battle, you're worthy of unconditional love. #snippet #WIP

I've gotten just over 2k words down this morning. Definitely an improvement from the molasses session yesterday! 🤣

I haven't been feeling well, and yesterday, I laid down and I hear, "Prrbt!" Smokey (cat) was already cuddled in my open dresser drawer by the bed, waiting for me. He was my shadow all day yesterday. Cats are the best (when they're not being jerks, haha). 💜
