7/4/1992-Kevin "Pup" Huntley broke through for his first ASCoC win at Eldora in the Ohio Speedweek finale, which also wrapped up his first, and only, Speedweek title. Rounding out the Top 5 was Frankie Kerr, Rickey Hood, Joe Gaerte and Bobby Allen.

7/4-HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY to 1977 World 100 winner Doug Kenimer. The Dahlonega, Georgia native led the final 70 laps to win the globes and $10,000. Kenimer passed away in 2017 at 71 years old. He would have turned 80 years old today.

7/4-HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Steve Casebolt, who turns 47 years old today. The Richmond, Indiana native took the lead on lap 21 and went on to win the 2007 DLM Dream and the $100,000 top prize.

7/5/1964-Jud Larson passed Don Branson on lap 2 and never looked back in capturing the USAC Sprint Car feature event. Branson finished in 2nd place ahead of Chuck Engel, Bud Tinglestad and A.J. Foyt. The win was Larson's first of three straight USAC Sprint Car wins at Eldora.

7/5-HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jay Drake, who turns 56 years old today. Drake has 4 USAC Sprint Car wins and 3 USAC Midget wins at Eldora. He captured the 1997 and the 2002 Four Crown Nationals Midget events.

7/6/1991-Rickey Hood led the entire 30-lap ASCoC feature event to capture the Ohio Sprint Speedweek finale. Hood beat Sammy Swindell, Kevin Huntley, Todd Shaffer and Joey Allen. Swindell's runner up finish wrapped up the Speedweek championship.

7/6-HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY to 1982 World 100 winner Mike Duvall. "The Flintstone Flyer" led the final six laps to win the 12th World 100. Duvall, from Gaffney, SC passed away in 2017 at 68 years old. He would have been 76 years old today.

7/7/1990-Sammy Swindell capped off a dominant Ohio Speedweek championship with his 5th win in 7 events. Swindell passed Kevin Huntley for the lead on lap 11 and led rest of the 30 lap All Star feature event. Huntley, Ricky Hood, Kenny Jacobs and Danny Smith were top five.

7/7-HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY to Stan Fox. The former Indy 500 starter won the 1990 USAC Four Crown Nationals Midget event for his only Eldora win. Fox passed away in 2000 at 48 years old. He would have been 73 years old today.

7/8/2008-Jason Johnson inherited the lead on lap 24 from Donny Schatz and went on to win the 30-lap Ollie's 360 Challenge that kicked off Kings Royal week. It was Johnson's only Eldora win. Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Fred Rahmer, Greg Wilson and Kasey Kahne completed the top five.

7/8/-HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Eldora legend Jack Hewitt. Hewitt won a record 19 races at the Four Crown Nationals (8 in Silver Crown, 5 Sprint Car, 3 Midget and 3 Modified). He has a record 13 USAC Sprint Car wins at Eldora. Jack turns 74 years old today.

7/9/1977-Defending USAC Sprint Car Champion Pancho Carter led all 40 laps and captured his 7th (and final) USAC Sprint win at Eldora. Carter beat Tom Bigelow, Sheldon Kinser, George Snider and Roger Rager.

7/10/2007 - Mechanicsburg, PA's Lucas Wolfe picked up his only Eldora win, capturing the 360 Sprint Car Summer Sizzler, which opened up 2007 Kings Royal week. Dale Blaney, Greg Wilson, Kasey Kahne and Mike Daggett completed the top 5. Ken Schrader won the UMP Mod feature.

7/11/2008-Joey Saldana led the final 17 laps to capture the Knight Before The Kings Royal World of Outlaws 30-lap feature event. Jason Meyers, Dale Blaney, Donny Schatz and Craig Dollansky completed the top five. Butch Schroeder won the NRA 360 feature.

7/12/2003-Brian Birkhofer won the only UMP Summernationals event held at Eldora. Birkhofer took the lead on lap 5 from Shane Clanton and led the rest of the 30-lap event. Billy Moyer, Terry English, Darrell Lanigan and Clanton were top 5. Brian Ruhlman won the UMP Mod feature.

7/13/2023-Logan Schuchart won the richest winner's prize in Sprint Car history leading all 50 laps to capture $1,000,000 by winning the Eldora Million. Carson Macedo, Brad Sweet, David Gravel and Rico Abreu completed the top five.
