I greatly enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Arch Street Meeting House today with Senator Nikil Saval. It was incredible to see items like the ladder pictured which is original to the meeting room. The cellar floor also shows how little was touched and the attic has beautiful ventilation.

#OTD in 1971, Philadelphia's Arch Street Meeting House was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Travel back in time with Laurita and Lauren to see the Quaker meeting house almost exactly as it was in the 1800s. Arch Street Meeting House youtube.com/watch?v=x7bS0E…

Ever wondered about the origin of Quaker Oats' name?🌾 Contrary to popular belief, the company has NO affiliation with any Quakers! Quaker Oats' founders knew that the faith's reputation of honesty and integrity would be good for business. #MeetQuakerHistory #QuakerTrivia

We lack some information about George Fox's early life, because (according to one story) his baptismal records were ripped out to make covers for preserves! There's still plenty we can say though, with 50+ events in his 400th year: fwcc.world/fox/ #GeorgeFox400
