The 3 Stages: 1️⃣ Use limited uranium in standard reactors to generate power & extract plutonium. 2️⃣ Use that plutonium in "Fast Breeder" reactors to create more fuel and convert our Thorium into usable Uranium-233. 3️⃣ Run future reactors entirely on Thorium. 3/7

We formally entered Stage 2. The PFBR is a "breeder" reactor, meaning it is designed to actually produce more fissile fuel than it consumes. Attaining "criticality" means it has successfully achieved a continuous, self-sustaining fission chain reaction. 4/7

This was an incredibly difficult path. → Construction took 22 years. → The budget escalated from ₹3,492 crore to a final cost of ₹7,700 crore. Why the delay? Because the engineering is immensely complex. In fact, the USA, UK, and Germany all tried to build commercial

The joint U.S.-Israeli campaign involved 900+ strikes in 12 hours, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, the IRGC moved to shut down the Strait, targeting tankers and causing commercial traffic to plummet by 95% overnight. 3/11

High-stakes evasion has become the norm. "Zombie tankers" have been documented using the identities of scrapped vessels to slip through. Others are hugging Omani territorial waters to bypass the IRGC’s "Northern Corridor" near Larak Island. 8/11

This is a legal nightmare. Article 26 of UNCLOS prohibits levying charges for passage alone. But since Iran hasn't ratified the convention and maintains physical control, the "transit passage" regime is effectively dead in the water for now. 9/11
