I don’t agree. We just don’t care. Our parents were busy too but still showed up. My mom would come back from school, put her bag down, wear a sock and shawl to pay her respects to a family that suffered a loss. This was a norm in many communities. We just don’t care.

People with no hobbies play with people as a hobby for entertainment, arguing, fighting and depending on somebody else for dopamine.

Normalise not forcing connections with people. It flows, or it goes. If someone doesn't see the value in having you by their side, don't try to convince them.

Closure is a myth.they treated you like shit because they hated you, case closed. Move on

Unfortunately, I’m not nonchalant or mysterious. I’m just naturally awkward person who becomes talkative once I’m comfortable.

I use to be embarrassed about my journey because of the time and age it took me to accomplish things but looking back I’m proud of it. It showed me I faced my fears and didn’t let the pressure of others force me to do it. I did my tasks when I was good and ready. A true UNDERDOG!

walking away from a situation that hurt you sends a message to the entire cosmos that you have created space for 100x better. i promise.

The older I get the more I realize that people don’t really care about you. They are just nosy and want to make sure you’re not doing better than them.

It’s all about curation. Every aspect of life is about curation. Yes, there will be things out of my control but I will still tailor & curate all of my experiences to my liking.

if you haven’t, i hope you fall in love with life again. i hope you wake up with a happy sigh, hope you feel like doing things you enjoy, hope you are surrounded by people who make you feel safe, hope you smile at yourself in the mirror.
