5D showing off their new angle measuring protractor skills last week

5D have loved programming the Kubos robots to make their way through the Minotaur labyrinths. They also learnt how to debug programs when Kubos got trapped.

Our first Science lesson this year! 5D explored the properties of materials and the vocabulary needed to accurately describe materials. Lots of feels bags and practical testing!

We are truly blown away by the amount and the quality of homework from Year 5 at the start of this new term. It is absolutely lava-ly (sorry!)

Year 5 had a smashing time (sorry) this afternoon testing their egg-carrying parachutes.

Amazing visit this morning from Wonderdome for Year 5! The children entered a huge inflatable planetarium and got a totally new perspective on our galaxy. They asked really interesting questions and learnt lots of new facts. Fab way to end our topic! #wonderdome photos soon!

It was all ‘business’ in Year 5 today as the children took part in the final part of the mini enterprise challenge. The children took on job roles to run eight separate businesses, each making and selling Easter egg hunt kits. Which team made the most profit? Find out Friday!
