My brother spends a lot of time in archives [looking at television and film related material] stumbled across this from 1968. Definitely of its time, but left me wondering what other texts [inc. books] have been forgotten or discarded. Do they have something to say? #LDNursing

We were devastated to miss the @SBUHBHeritage Cefn Coed exhibition at Swansea Museum but really glad to see their pop-up at Swansea University Library. If only all health boards in Wales were as committed to preserving this heritage! Fantastic use of artefacts too. @OrielScience

On #NationalTeaDay we are reminded of the powerful oral history interviews collected by the Hidden Now Heard project. Lack of choice around tea drinking was a common thread through the recordings. Teapot from Bryn y Neuadd Hospital, Llanfairfechan.

Talking about Hidden Now Heard today made me think of this dress, and how the interviewees spoke of clothing as control at long-stay hospitals. ๐Ÿ“ธ Dress made by a supplier to Hensol and Bridgend area hospitals, 1930s. #clothingmatters

I wish I had the opportunity to go and buy my daughter her little uniform for starting pre-school. Our village school made it clear she wasn't wanted because she's disabled and the council still haven't granted an EHCP to enable her to go elsewhere. Sadness is overwhelming today.

We are saddened to hear about the passing of Phyllis Jones, one of the first former Hensol patients we interviewed for the project back in 2014. She shaped so much of what we learned about life at the hospitals and challenged many of our perceptions too.
