Sufyan bin 'Abdullah Ath-Thaqafi said: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you fear most for me?” The Prophet ﷺ pointed to his tongue and then he said, “This.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2410]

Sheikh Ibn bāz (رحمه الله) said: “Whoever guards his time by remembering Allāh, reciting Quran, accompanying the best people and staying away from the heedless and evil, his heart will become good and soften.” [Majmū’ al-Fatāwa, vol.5, p.244]

The Prophet ﷺ said: “If Allah wills good for someone, He afflicts him with trials.” Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5645

Sheikh ‘Abdullah Aba Batien (رحمه الله) said: أهل الحق هم الأقلون عددا، الأعظمون عند الله قدرا “The people of al-Haqq (truth) are small in number, (but) the greatest by Allāh in value.” [Ad-Durar as-Saniyyah, 12/173]

Imām Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله said: “Beware of being careless toward He who grants you life and allows you to breathe as well as providing you with everything, which you need.” [Al Fawa’id, p. 158]

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) said: “In all that you do, whether it pertains to things of this world or the next, you should seek help and succour from God alone, and this should remain the guiding principle of your life for ever and ever.” (Our Teaching, p. 13)
