Our project with Scottish Recovery Consortium is going to be rolled-out for all 3rd year medical students UoD Medicine as part of their addictions psychiatry teaching. A huge moment to involve people with Lived Experience of addiction in medical education at this scale.
It fills my heart with joy to see this project grow and change the way students perceive addiction. Its ‘Transformational Education’. With simple conversations and authentic connection, the lived experience community share their stories and wisdom of recovery University of Dundee
