Devastating news in Yemen for Save the Children, we’ve lost a brilliant colleague. So many crises right now, let us not let the heartache of this family be forgotten in amongst mounting devastating loss elsewhere.

#Gaza's children are living through a nightmare – one that gets worse by the hour. They've been cut off from food, water & electricity. We're ready to deliver aid but we need a consistent safe passage urgently! Time is costing lives. Aid must not be withheld from children⚠️

At least 17.6M children will be born into hunger this year - 33 children a minute⚠️ This is a 22% jump from a decade ago. But hunger isn't a lost cause. On #WorldChildrensDay we call on leaders at the Global Food Security Summit to address the root causes of food insecurity.

1. A quick (and selective) thread on food and climate change on day 1 of #COP28 #COP28UAE here in Dubai. There are several really important developments to celebrate; a few important caveats and things to watch out for; and a lot of work still to do.

bravo to our super Save the Children Europe team for pulling this info together on #UHCDay health is a fundamental human right and with 4.5bn people still without access to essential services we have such a long way to go....

Since violence escalated, an Israeli-imposed siege has left 1 million children without enough to eat, leading to a rise of malnutrition cases. Denying children in #Gaza access to food & basic supplies is inhumane & will have potentially deadly & life-altering consequences⚠️

As I understand it, passing P Company has never been ‘off limits’ for women - it was always just a very very high bar physically. For *all*. I’ve always loved that… some might think of the military as anachronistic… but little pockets like this prove otherwise. Go Addy ✊
