As someone who frequently, constantly ends up being the target and focus of the banter, group ups, and roasting - please don't go overboard on people. Constant roasting and banter has become so normalized that people are just jabbing constantly, and it can really wear you down.

we don't talk nearly enough about "papercuts" in a relationship. everytime there's raised voices, cruel words, lack of support, short temper, lack of affection, etc., a tiny wound is created. not enough to make you leave, but enough to make part of you pull away 1/2
