It's #SpottedTurtle season! We're working with a variety of partners to survey for #turtles across the southeastern US, part of a collaborative effort with the Southeastern Spotted Turtle Working Group. Here's the first one observed in 2024. Looking forward to the years ahead!

We get many road-killed specimens. However, this lovely #Copperhead was on the city walking trail. Precision damage to the head suggests it was killed on purpose. Our collection holds 219 specimens. #snakes
