Isn't the phrase "it doesn't have to be perfect", just a way for us to let ourselves off the hook? That instead of taking the time to learn and make something great, we just surrender to our self-made fact that it doesn't need to be perfect so we can get instant gratification?

We all crave connection, and when we can't find it, we find an addiction instead. Obsessive eating, gaming, drinking, running, shopping. I don't drink, run or shop. But I've gained 7kg. — And no matter how much I look, the connection I'm looking for is not in the f*ing fridge.

What I like about Seth Godin, is how he always talks about taking the time to really learn something. Not to chase adrenaline and run around like idiots trying to find the next thing. But to actually do the work. It's a philosophy I share. Learn first, then teach.Seth Godin

Every time I go back home from travel abroad, I feel I do not belong where my home is. I even feel I do not relate with people I used to see. The food has no the same taste as before. The language does not look the same. It's a strange feeling of never having been there before.
