Only someone as brilliant as Lea Starita could have developed multiple new lab testing methods about 10 times during the course of just one pandemic. She also identified the first SARS-CoV-2 PCR positive community case in the US in her lab, with the original assay.

We are hiring a Lab Manager for our group. Join us to study how well vaccines work against COVID-19, flu, and RSV, and how the pandemic has changed the immune landscape. A great opportunity to be part of the science on community respiratory viruses. uwhires.admin.washington.edu/ENG/Candidates…
