Really enjoyed this morning's discussion in Bangui on mental health and peacebuilding in CAR. Many powerful testimonies from health professionals, peacebuilders, government representatives and international partners, illustrating the need to pay attention to spiritual beliefs.

Our team in Bangui is leading really interesting work on masculinities, gender and mental health. Last week Conciliation Resources Gender and Central African Republic teams carried out a gendered conflict analysis and developed a programme level gender strategy for the team.

So excited to see Conciliation Resources's new report on mental health and gender in the Central African Republic 🇨🇫 Gender plays a key role in how young people experience mental distress. MHPSS and peacebuilding programmes need to better reflect this. The report shows how it can be done.
