Delighted that our summer project student and University of Glasgow Chemistry undergraduate Sophie Chisholm won one of the poster prizes at @icsm2022 for her masters placement research over the last year with John Lupton Universität Regensburg. Well done Sophie!

I wonder what Bob Servant would have made of this? A good 20 pages of correspondence on the tank top design for the next book right there.

Happy International Woman's Day! I'm taking this opportunity to celebrate these fantastic female scientists from the Hedley and Farnaby Group that I am incredibly grateful to work alongside on a daily basis. #InternationalWomensDay University of Glasgow Chemistry

Classical rainbow of light emitting organic semiconductors ready as part of the lab tour for University of Glasgow Chemistry offer holders day tomorrow. #UofGFutureChemist

Our postdoc, Saptarshi, had his last day today in the Hedleylab. Next week he will be starting a new position in Boston Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)! We're all very excited for him to start the next chapter of his academic career and see what the great things the future brings him. All the best, Sappy!

Many congratulations to Olga Vodianova for winning the Royal Society of Chemistry J. Mater. Chem. family Materials Advances poster prize at Optical Probes in Como for her work on the single molecule spectroscopy of the light emitting polymer F8BT. Very well done Olga!
