Our next foraging walk is Sunday 14th May and it’s going to be lovely ! We’re back at Newtonfarmfoods for 10.30-12.30. A flat walk around the beautiful Duchy village looking at edible wild greens, followed by tea and cake at the cafe. Booking directly with the shop 01225 873707.

This coming Saturday at Keynsham Farmer’s market I’ll have nut-free wild garlic pesto, wild garlic salt and wild garlic muffins🧄 as well as the normal range of foraged preserves and our new sugar free preserves. 9am-1pm Market Walk.

The great bit about delivering my produce to Newtonfarmfoods on a Wednesday is that steve harvey Fishman with a Difference is there (until 4pm). I’m lucky enough to be opposite him at Keynsham Farmer’s market this coming Saturday too (9-1pm).

So the hedges that have been there since I was a kid have been ripped out today to start the new Costa drive through. Opposite the McDonald’s drive through, next to the Morrisons garage & Greggs that serves coffee next to the planned burger king. Is it really needed?

Not long now until schools break up. We’ve got lots of gift ideas to suit all budgets. Thank a teacher with something other than flowers and chocolate with our handmade preserves. We also do bepsoke orders and hampers.

Just collected 4kg of plump gooseberries from a friend. These, coupled with our homemade fragrant elderflower cordial, make a delicious jam. Made with British sugar in small batches without the use of pectin. Also available, without the cordial, in our no added sugar range.
