🍁🌿🍂 Fall appreciation post! Just taking a moment to appreciate this beauty. We couldn't help but see some math! How many leaves do you estimate are on the ground? What do you notice about the leaf? What other math connections can you make when you step outside this week?

We love seeing the MathUp resource in action! This task further reinforces the power of the area model for students. Each rectangle really helps us to SEE the factors and multiples of each number. Love the idea of using the same area to identify common multiples. Rubicon Publishing
