Kukpi7 Sellars and David Archie from Williams Lake First Nation were joined by Freddy Johnson from Esk’etemc First Nation-together they drummed Columneetza students into school on the first day back and Kukpi7 Sellars welcomed Grade 7s in the first assembly of the morning!❤️

A great visit from Dr. S! Activating prior knowledge and getting students to make connections to literature was so much fun! Thank you Leyton, we all appreciated learning from you and with you…can’t wait for your next visit to SD27.

Virtual Learning with Myron Dueck for Columneetza and PSO. Teachers engaged with Myron in classroom pods about the “Why” and the “How” to use the Proficiency Scale for Grades 7-8-9 reporting. Excited to hopefully see Myron in person for a follow up later in the fall!
