As the semester winds down, my department surprised me with a going away party today. I'm grateful for my beloved colleagues here Houston Theological Seminary. It's all getting real. We submitted our UK visa applications yesterday.

Such a joy to have John Meade and at Peter Gurry join us at HCU this past weekend for a Scribes & Scripture conference. Lectures were great, time in the museum was fun, and Tex-Mex food afterwards Pappasito's Cantina was a win!
