4th grade went to MOSI today to compete in STEMpalooza! They competed in 2 events and earned a gold and a silver!! So proud of their teamwork and determination! Yay 4th grade! @Crestwood2021 TampaBaySTEM Math Council HAEST

These Ss displayed creativity, innovation and discipline as they tried to make their LEGO Education spike prime vehicle through the maze. They were set on using color sensors to navigate…pretty cool. Thank you HAEST and Math Council, today was epic.

Yesterday our 2nd and 3rd graders competed in #STEMpalooza and showed great perseverance and had fun of course! They got 2 bronze medals in the Botley challenges and 2nd grade got a silver in engineering and 3rd got bronze! Thank you HAEST and Math Council Riverwalk STEM Academy @ Just Elementary School

During math we were learning about how to identify decimals on a number line! We used Sphero Education to code Sphero to the correct spot on the number line and then recorded the decimal and fraction in our math notebooks! We had so much fun!
