The project is being implemented in the District of Lamwo in the Diocese of Kitgum, covering two sub-counties: Palabek Ogili and Palabek Nyimur. It is in its 2nd year of the 2nd cycle of implementation since Oct 2018 & is expected to run for a total of 36 months. 2/4...

Kerk in Actie Program Officers for Africa; Hilda Timmerman and Hette Domburg have commended Church of Uganda's Village Savings and Loan Association program for championing self-sustainability and environmental conservation through tree planting, and managing plastics effectively.

They made the comments during an exit meeting today with the Diocesan administration and the team from Directorate of HCT, Church of Uganda led by Rev. Andrew Agaba. Kerk in Actie funds the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) project implemented in the District of Lamwo.
