In Driel we honor Polish paratroopers who helped liberate us in 1944. The Netherlands has long recognized Poland’s important role. On this memorable day the UK is joining us in this recognition. Today we proudly support Poland as NATO allies, with F-35s and air defence! 🇳🇱🇵🇱🇬🇧

The day after the Airborne Memorial Service in Oosterbeek, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Joint Committee for the Netherlands gathered at Westduin cemetery to recommit to supporting work of the Commonwealth War Graves and Oorlogsgravenstichting in maintaining war graves & memorials around the country.

On 25 September, the local community of #Oosterbeek take part in the White Ribbon Silent March, retracing the steps taken by British airborne forces as they withdrew across the river after the Battle of Arnhem. Always an honour to join them. #OperationBerlin UK in NL🇬🇧🇳🇱 🇬🇧 🇳🇱 🇵🇱
