We’ve started a phased opening of a new Same Day Emergency Care dept at King George Hospital, with 11 patients treated on day one. Most patients seen here won't need to be admitted, so we’ll get them home quicker, reducing waits for A&E patients. ow.ly/x9Ze50RcaXK

Today’s national data shows we exceeded the A&E recovery target, treating 77.5% of patients within 4 hours, even with March being our busiest month ever. Despite this achievement, we know too many patients are still waiting too long. ow.ly/4mmm50RcWHN
