We visited our pals Hayhoe Hops today to pick up some fresh Chinook hops for a special single hop pale ale we've got in the works. Thanks to Scott and the crew for showing us around!

The inspiration for this cider is rooted in history. The London & Nissouri Hop Society, in operation from 1835-1868 was headquartered two farms from us. Dry Hopped Cider pays homage to hop farming in SW Ontario. Thanks, Hayhoe Hops for the great hops we sourced for this cider!

I find it quite disheartening that the frozen US “fresh” hops are getting everyone so excited. You know we have actual fresh ones here? There are some great new British hops around at the moment, I brewed green hop beers in September with Ernest and Emperor, both mind blowing.
